So there is a popular phrase in the fitness world. Abs are made in the kitchen. If you want a six pack, you must watch your diet. What does that mean exactly? Does it mean simply that by making sure you have a calorie deficit ( eating less than you burn) that you will shed the layers of fat? Or is it more complicated and it's literally only eating certain foods like egg whites, protein shakes, veggies and lean meat that will get you there? Are we over complicating it? Or not being complicated enough?
